Dance Class Descriptions

With Corresponding Dress Codes

Ballet/Tap/Jazz (BTJ) & Ballet/Tap/Acrobatics (BTA) (Ages 3-6)

These combination classes teach the fundamentals of Ballet, Tap, Acrobatics, and Jazz styles of dance. By introducing students to multiple styles of dance in one class, we are able to provide an exciting and engaging experience at a young age. This also allows the student to explore different varieties of dance and decide which styles they enjoy most. This combination class is directed in a creative and fun environment which allows each student the proper attention to ensure they are being trained with the correct placement and technique. This class also provides an active environment for the children to build and grow their social skills.

Character Jazz is a basic style of jazz technique combined with huge personality. A musical theater style class that focuses on performance quality and stage presence. All levels are welcome.

This class will increase flexibility and coordination by challenging the pace at which the dancer’s body can move. This class helps express personality through movement that allows for a little attitude.
