Covid-19 Studio Protocols
We have many new protocols in place due to covid-19, and will continue to abide by all the safety standards and regulations put out by the
Governor’s office and the Cuyahoga County BOH.
The safety of you and your children while in our care, is our top priority.
Outlined below are the current protocols we have put in place.
Upon Arrival:
Dancers can be dropped off at the side doors. Our lobby is closed and therefore parents cannot wait inside the studio during classes
All outdoor shoes will be taken off and left in lobby (in the designated shoe area)
All students will sanitize hands or wash with soap and water prior to entering the dance space
Masks/Face Coverings:
Masks are optional.
Additional Safety Measures:
Hand sanitizer is located at the entrance/exit doors, all studio rooms and in the lobby area for additional use
Since our lobby is closed, so is our front desk office. Therefore all payments will now be made online via emailed invoices. Dance students - see dance tuition page for more details
Restrooms and high contact surface areas will be disinfected multiple times each night
We do ask that you bring only what you absolutely need with you into the building, and that you keep keys and cell phones (big germ carriers) in your bag or coat pocket while in the building, or in a zip lock bag!
Class sizes are limited to accommodate personal space for each student
Our dressing room and lobby are still closed
DO NOT COME FOR CLASS IF:
You’ve had a fever within the past 48 hours
You’re not feeling well or feel the onset of a cold
You or anyone in your household is unwell, again we ask that you please stay home for the safety of everyone involved
You or anyone you’ve been around has contracted the virus, we ask that you stay home and self quarantine for at least 14 days and then be completely symptom free without fever (without medication) for at least 72 hours before returning to class
Contact the Studio:
If you find out that you have been in contact with someone who has contracted the virus, or you, yourself contracts the virus, you will need to notify the studio, so that we may inform others that they may have been exposed
Pilates Specific:
All equipment will be deep cleaned in between each use (this will require more time in between lessons)
You can continue to use our loops/handles which is the highest contact part of our reformers OR you can purchase your own pair.
Please use front door entrance (not side door directly off the parking lot).
Suggestions for additional precautions:
Bring a hand towel to place over the headrest and shoulder pads when lying on your back (optional)
If you have long hair, we recommend wearing a hat or a headband to keep hair off your face and eliminate the need to put your hands near your face
If you sweat a lot we suggest wearing a sweatband to eliminate the need to touch your face (let’s bring back those cool 80’s sweat bands)
Remember that this is a temporary situation (even though we do not know when it will end) and we are going to take it one month at a time. Please be assured we will continue to follow all rules and regulations that will provide the safest and most enjoyable environment for everyone involved.
